1. The Service
BrainyBrief helps users summarize webpages, PDFs, YouTube videos, and transcripts; translate summaries; ask questions about source content; save summaries; reopen summary history; inspect citations, page references, timestamps, and source snippets; run Source Analysis; export notes; and use AI-powered screenshot analysis. BrainyBrief: Flashcard helps users create local study flashcards and quiz cards from webpages or selected text.
BrainyBrief is designed to support reading, research, studying, writing, and information review. It does not replace professional judgment, original source review, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or academic responsibility.
2. Accounts and Sign-In
You may need to sign in with Google to use certain BrainyBrief features, manage credits, save history, access paid plans, or use account-based functionality.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been used without permission, contact us promptly.
3. User Content
When you use BrainyBrief, you may submit webpage text, PDF text, YouTube transcript text, transcript text, selected text, questions, summaries, flashcard requests, source snippets, saved content, export requests, source analysis requests, screenshots, and related source metadata for processing. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and submit the content you choose to process.
You keep ownership of your content. By using BrainyBrief features, you give BrainyBrief permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
4. AI-Generated Output
BrainyBrief uses AI systems to generate summaries, transcript summaries, translations, answers, citations, explanations, flashcards, exported notes, source analysis, and screenshot analysis. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading.
You should verify important information against original sources before relying on it. BrainyBrief is a productivity and research assistant, not a source of guaranteed truth.
5. Citations and Source Highlights
BrainyBrief may show citation references, PDF page references, YouTube timestamps, transcript references, source snippets, and highlighted excerpts where technically possible to help you trace claims back to source content. These tools are intended to make source review easier, but they may not capture every relevant context or nuance.
6. Plans, Credits, and Paid Features
BrainyBrief may offer Lite, Plus, Pro, extra credit packs, credit-based usage, subscriptions, or other paid features. Credits, plan limits, and feature availability may vary by plan and may change over time.
Credits are used to provide access to BrainyBrief features and do not represent cash, stored value, or transferable currency. Unused credits may expire or reset according to the plan or offer attached to your account.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Billing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or Google Play. Any taxes, fees, payment processing requirements, cancellation tools, or refund rules may depend on your platform, location, and payment method.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription according to the billing tools made available to you. Stripe subscriptions should be managed through BrainyBrief billing flows where available. Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled through Google Play. Cancellation generally stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
Refund requests may be reviewed case by case. We may decline refunds for already-used credits, abuse, policy violations, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse BrainyBrief. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Using BrainyBrief to violate laws, rights, or platform policies.
- Submitting content you do not have permission to process.
- Attempting to bypass credit limits, plan limits, authentication, billing, or security controls.
- Using automated systems to overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Using BrainyBrief to generate or distribute harmful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information BrainyBrief collects, how it is used, and how we protect it. Please read the BrainyBrief Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
10. Third-Party Services
BrainyBrief may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, AI processing, billing, analytics, infrastructure, or other operational needs. These services may include providers such as Google, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and AI model providers.
Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
11. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of BrainyBrief at any time. We may also change features, plan limits, prices, credit rules, or availability as the service evolves.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to BrainyBrief if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the service, created risk for other users, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in a way that could harm BrainyBrief or its providers.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated output, summaries, transcript summaries, translations, citations, flashcards, exported notes, source analysis, answers, screenshot analysis, or saved history.
14. Limitation of Liability
